The Charles Barker Champions for Kids charity foundation was formed in 1994 with the mission to facilitate fundraising to benefit children in Hampton Roads. Our foundation began hosting several fundraising events throughout the year in support of its mission. Our premier event is an annual golf tournament held each October at the Bayville Golf Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This invitation only tournament was renamed in 2002 to the Creech-Malbon Memorial Golf Tournament in remembrance of two young men, Preston Creech and Lane Malbon, who left this world too soon.
